Author: Ursula McLean

Skin care does not require being complicated or steadfast. If you have a moderately good lifestyle, skin care should be a very normal routine taking less than 10 minutes extra of the day. These are simple care taking tips that will benefit one and all.

Skin is the home to several bacteria and other living organisms, keeping it clean keeps growth and existence of these organisms in check and avoids any body odor emanating from our body. However, there are several factors that influence growth and existence of these bacteria.

Your health condition has a lot to do with how your skin looks, for a healthy person it is very easy to repair skin and get a beautiful skin fast. For people with health problems, getting flawless skin may be difficult but it is not impossible. Other factors such as dietary habits, exercising, cleanliness, etc. too have a role to play when determining how your skin looks.

There are some small tips to maintain beautiful skin. All skin keeps on getting dirty through sweat and exposure, etc. but skin that is exposed the most and is our identity is the facial skin and skin of palms, hands, etc. depending on the season. Washing or rather bathing all exposed parts of your body at least twice a day is most important.

For women it is almost normal to apply a foundation or some make up when they leave their home, care needs to be taken that they remove all make up at the end of the day, allowing their skin to breathe easy. You can also apply some moisturizer before going to bed each day after you have scrubbed your skin with an exfoliating soap to make it extra clean.

You can start skin care for the day with a glass of water, and consistently drink water throughout the day; this will help reducing toxins in your body, and provide the skin with enough moisture. You should also make sure that you include fiber rich foods in your diet; this will keep your stomach clean and system healthy. Try not to indulge in spicy food regularly.

You can try cleansing and toning of your facial skin at least twice a week, it will help you avoid acne and problems resulting from it. You can try out putting ice to your facial skin; this often helps in reduction of wrinkles from your face. You can include gentle massage each day before sleep after applying the moisturizer so that all facial muscles are toned and your face looks firmer each day.

Try to use a good quality make up, try to use it minimally. Skin care should be very easy for all those who keep all the above points in mind. Exercising is an added bonus; it avoids wrinkling and keeps skin hydrated, soft and happy. You also need to ensure that you reduce any addictions, smoke from cigarettes and alcohol abuse, too can cause wrinkling and acne to your skin.
