Safest Investment Options
Author: CoinsBullions

Indian is considered to be land of Gold. People In India were lot of Gold ornaments than in any other part of the world. Making India the Gold Hub of the world In India, they have been urged to continue investing in Gold Coins since it could provide a safer investment than traditional equities and bonds.

According to the World Gold Council (WGC), India could become the regional gold trading hub if a number of changes were made, such as allowing the Futures Exchange to trade in the spot market, enabling banks and financial institutions to take part in the gold market and beginning bullion exports

Even when the stock market crashes or if the dollar weakens gold will continue to be a safe option.

To help promote the idea of gold as a reliable investment, the WGC has already made a number of recommendations to the government.

Among the ideas submitted to ministers were proposals to allow banks to offer gold-backed investment products, gold loans for local jewelers and the lowering of the customs duty on gold imports. The Royal Canadian Mint took gold coin investing to another level in 1979

when it introduced Gold Maple Leaf coins to compete with Krugerrands, whose tremendous success had proven a strong demand for gold bullion coins.

Because Gold Maple Leaf coins
were .999 fine gold, they achieved instant popularity with gold bullion coin buyers who wanted to invest in pure gold coins.

In 1987, Australia's Perth Mint introduced a 1-oz gold bullion coin, the Australian Kangaroos Gold Coins with the image of the largest gold nugget ever found on the reverse, the 2,284-oz Welcome Stranger nugget, which was found in Western Australia in 1869. The new Australian Kangaroos Gold Coins was appropriately named the Australian Nugget. The obverse of the Australian Kangaroos Gold Coin carries an image of Queen Elizabeth II, as do most Australian gold coins.

Since 1990, however, the reverse has carried the image of a kangaroo, with
a yearly design change. As a result, Nuggets became Kangaroo Nuggets.
Unlike the Australia's Perth Mint Lunar Series gold coins, Kangaroo Nuggets have no production limits.
