How to Use Simple Written Articles to Drive Lots of Traffic to Your Website. Part 6

So, after writing an enticing and highly informative article, what next? Spreading your article all over the web. In this step, which is the third of the article marketing steps, you then go ahead to post your articles to what are called article databases or directories. These directories are very crucial to the success of your campaign. You can with just a single article, drive lots of targeted traffic to your website. How? Article directories are places where people specifically seeking for information on a particular topic go to. What they do is visit the directory and read the articles. In the process of reading, they could stumble upon your article. As of the time of this writing, there are over 5oo high quality article directories on the internet. This is not to say there aren’t millions of other article sites. If you are very interested in that, go to your favorite search engine and type in the relevant keywords.

For instance, if you wrote an article on Palmistry or Astrology, you can type into the search bar, Astrology article directories. This shows that there are different kinds of article directories online. There are the general ones like Ezinearticles.com which features articles from different niches and fields and others that are strictly related to a specific topic.

So, how do you use your articles to generate massive traffic to your sites? Simple. Play the numbers game. How? Simply take one article and post it to various article databases. Here is a list of article directories:

There are other article directories. If you want to find the total list, I’d recommend using the Google search engine. Just type in “article directory list” as the keyword. To use your articles to generate lots of traffic, post them in up to 20 high traffic directories. The secret is this. Post one article in different categories in each article directory. For example: Assuming you wrote an article on dating, you could post it in the dating category in one directory while posting in another category such as lifestyle in another directory. You get the idea. Spread the traffic. You are bound to get lots of people visiting your website with just this simple tactic. It will not take more than one hour to implement and could earn you lots of dough if you took your time to write the article properly and create an interesting byline. How will you get the traffic? People visit these article directories daily to either post articles or/and read other author’s articles. While browsing through the articles, they get to read your article. That’s why I said focus on producing high quality content. Most articles you read on the article directories are just drab reproductions or rewrites of other articles that have been written. So, if your article stands out, the authors are bound to want to see more of your articles resulting in them clicking through your bylines. I cannot emphasize it enough. If your article is drab, you may not get results. But if it is full of relevant information, the results would be staggering. Your readers should feel that they have just learned something after reading your article.

In conclusion, no relevant information, no results. Get that into your head and you are on your way to generating lots of targets for your sites.
