For a 21 year old, life may consist of parties, parties, friends and more parties. Isn’t life simple? Nothing seems to trouble our mind except for a few assignments here and there and also studying! However, with friends everything seems to fall into places. No matter how hard we go through college routine, we’d be sure to party even harder!

We consider ourselves as the adventurous type. Why party in a club where it’s almost too safe? The places like dormitories and public faculty areas are the places we want to party because it comes with the thrill of getting caught! It’s safe to say that we’ve tried every place you can imagine.

It may sound a bit corny to you that the party animal in prefers the garden lawn as a place to have a blast with friends. You may associate gardens with wedding and other family affairs and any kind of party that may take place would probably involve those under the age of 12 and over the age of 55. It’s true that children, growing up into adolescence would prefer not to be associated with things from childhood. This is why they would turn to clubs and bars for their so-called social events. The downside of clubs is that it is a bit expensive for young people who may not be earning much yet. It is also not the best place for gatherings as you may find yourself screaming every time you want to say something. In the end, everyone would probably just disappear off with a new partner.

Why do I love garden parties? The answer is simple. Clubs with their meaningless loud music and fixed party mood is not really my cup of tea. I like to be in control of my party. I like to set the mood right according to what kind of party I’m having. Be it a small get together with a few close friends or a loud one with a larger group of friends; my garden will not fail me. All I need to do is play the right kind of music and serve the right kind of drinks.

If you suddenly became inspired and just can’t wait to try out your garden for a bash with friends, make sure your patio is equipped with furniture that can support your event. There is a variety of patio furniture available in stores; from plastic sofas to wooden tables and chairs. However, make sure you go for something that is sturdy and can last you a long time but with that said, don’t restrict yourself to plain looking one. Try to look for something trendy too.

I recommend teak patio furniture. They have long been in the business of patio furniture. Made out of only good quality woods, the finished product is easy on the eye and offers a sturdier and stronger option. A symbol of luxury without the hefty prices. Make sure you only go for Grade A teak. This way, your furniture will never move out of its original shape nor would unsightly potholes start appearing after a few uses. You can get almost everything made out of teak. Chairs, lounges, tables and even umbrella stands for the matter.

Wicker furniture is often opted for in patio furnishing. The special thing about wicker furniture is that they are light yet robust. The rattan and wood actually gives out the tropical island aura to your garden mainly because, rattan is usually used in the likes of tropical islands and exotic beaches. Wicker furniture, although cheap, are known to be long lasting too.

Patio cushions are a must if you want comfort and styles for your party. Being outdoor, patio cushions must be cleaned before an event takes place. You might never know what’s been spilled or left on the cushions. This is to avoid your guests getting all sorts of unwanted stains or smells on their clothes.

A garden party during autumn and winter is impossible. It is the other way round if you invest in some patio heaters. Most of them are battery operated and this will allow your guests to walk around without tripping over dangerous cables and wires. It definitely would not turn a winter’s night into a summer’s day, but by raising a few degrees, you can actually enjoy your garden in a cozy manner.

After all these, you can now scout for the perfect drinks and music to get the right mood for the party.
